This villa/residential development has familiar features resembling a swanky place in Monaco, Capri, or Greece. But it beats the long-haul flight to Europe. Not only are you reserving a luxe US stayover, in my case, in building 1, but your tucked-away island hideaway includes a complimentary golf cart rental, giving you an open ticket to explore this charming island off the coast of SOCAL. The rooms are furnished in coastal chic with state-of-the-art amenities. The balcony is divine. The location is prime. It’s ideal for folks who don’t mind giving their FITBIT a workout (over 100 steps to ascend from your golf cart parking).

Sunlight spills across mahogany floors as the ocean stretches out beyond the balcony, shifting colors throughout the day. You wake to quiet island sounds, brew coffee, and step outside to take in the open water and palm-lined shoreline. Evenings wind down with fresh air, gentle breezes, and the glow of Avalon below.

The space
This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo in Avalon accommodates up to 4 guests and is designed for relaxed island living. The interior pairs hand-scraped mahogany hardwood floors with reclaimed limestone finishes, creating a calm, grounded atmosphere throughout. The open layout makes it easy to move between living, dining, and outdoor spaces while keeping the ocean view front and center.

Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom features a Cariloha king bed with quality linens, offering a comfortable place to recharge after a day exploring the island. In the living area, a sofa sleeper provides additional sleeping space for up to two more guests.

Living & entertainment
The living area is set up for downtime and connection, with a TV for streaming and relaxing evenings indoors. Heating and fans are available to keep the space comfortable year-round.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals during your stay, with KitchenAid appliances and ample space to cook and dine in. A dining table indoors offers a comfortable spot for shared meals, while the balcony provides an inviting alternative when you want to enjoy the ocean air.
